north meets south
Both chefs grew up in Sardinia, Achille in the south, Lello in the north. They trained at the same culinary school before going their separate ways internationally. Now they meet in Holland Park to bring you the best of Sardinian cooking.
Introducing Achille
At the heart of Pinna is the man whose name it bears: Achille Pinna. Before launching his restaurant in Mayfair, Achille was behind Wild Tavern, Wild in Notting Hill and Belvedere before Lello took over.
Born into a family of hoteliers and restaurateurs, Achille grew up above the kitchen on the Sardinian island of Sant'Antioco. His earliest lessons came from following his father through markets. From there he cooked his way across the world, from Japan to Brazil, the U.S. to the UK.
"Your dish should be recognisable without even knowing it's yours — that's your real signature.
